Film Size & Samples
Thermal laminating is considered by many in the graphic arts industry to be the finish of choice. Your printed materials last longer, look better and feel more luxurious — a difference your customers will definitely notice. We offer the following types of laminating film and can help you determine which thickness suits your needs. Above all, we offer quality service.
1.5 Mil. (.0015)
1.5 mil. is our lightest weight lamination film. This film is used when a laminated effect is wanted but very little added thickness is needed.
3 Mil. (.003)
3 mil. is our light medium weight lamination film. This is our most used weight of film. Great for menus, catalog sheets, posters ... the list of applications is endless.
5 Mil. (.005)
5 mil. is our medium weight lamination film. 5 mil. will add a great deal of thickness to your printed piece. This mil. is not usually recommended for jobs to be folded.
10 Mil. (.010)
10 mil. is our thickest lamination film. This film is used when maximum rigidity and durability are needed. This film is good for point-of-purchase displays, luggage tags, I.D. cards and many other projects that may require the strength of heavier gauge film.
Matte laminating film comes in all thicknesses. This film is used when less gloss is needed. Matte film produces a soft, low-glare finish. This film may be the film of choice when projects are under bright lighting.
